Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is a group of immunization providers, agency representatives and community members that advise OAIC on immunization policy, best-practices, and emerging knowledge. These important leaders are sent by their agencies or volunteer their own time to act as touchstones for the OAIC.
In this way, we are able to be responsive to the many immunization providers and community members that make up the constituency of OAIC. Members of the Steering Committee are nominated as recognition of their expertise and of the unyielding support of evidence-based public health and immunization practices they have shown in their work.
OAIC strives to be representative of all immunization stakeholders in Oregon. Through the input of the Steering Committee, OAIC policy and strategy is shaped to focus on areas that pertain to the needs of OAIC Members across the state.
